Henry’s Story

Colon Cancer

Henry was losing weight without any explanation for about a year. His wife suggested he go to the doctor. The doctor discovered a mass in his colon. In October of 2010, he had an operation to remove the mass and was in the hospital for about a week and a half. His doctor referred him to Highlands Cancer Center to see Dr. Jain. Dr. Jain sat down with Henry and set up his own personal cancer plan. At HCC Henry went through Chemo and Radiation. He still continues to visit Highlands Cancer Center for after care and follow ups.
He said, “The staff is very friendly and they seem to really care about the patients and listen to all of their needs. Everyone was very helpful and informative at Highlands Cancer Center. Because of my care I am in good health and doing all of my normal activities.” Henry has been very pleased with his time at Highlands. “I would definitely suggest that my friends and family get their treatments and care at Highlands Cancer Center. Heaven forbid, but if I ever get cancer of any kind again, I would not hesitate to go to Highlands Cancer Center again!”
