Mary’s Story

Lung Cancer

Highlands Cancer Center has helped with the support Mary needed and have gone beyond the call of duty. Mary was torn apart when she found out she had cancer. The staff at HCC was there for Mary and let her cry on their shoulder when she needed to. “The staff and doctors are very supportive, pleasant and friendly. I would not dream of even going anywhere else. This is my second family. I thank god for each and every one. I don’t know what I would have done without their help and support.”
Traveling to HCC for treatments is not an issue for Mary since she lives close by. Every time she walks in they always greet her with a smile. “I look forward to all my appointments there.” She has been very pleased with her course of treatment at HCC as well. Mary said, “You know when you go there they are doing everything to help you. It’s such a good setting. If someone asked me about HCC, I would tell them to go check it out. It is a wonderful place and they have are VERY caring staff there. I highly recommend that you go see for yourself.”
